Housed in a charming 1913 heritage building, the Motueka District Museum offers a unique journey into the past. Immerse yourself in the rich history of the Motueka District and uncover stories that have shaped our community.

Since opening in 1987, we’ve been dedicated to preserving and sharing Motueka’s rich heritage. Whether it’s your first visit or you’re returning to explore our rotating exhibitions and events, there’s always something new to discover.
